Daughter of famed winemaker Jean-Marc Morey, Caroline also makes wine with her husband under the Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey label. She and her family are truly part of the history of winemaking in Chassagne-Montrachet, and you can taste that pedigree in her exquisite wines.

In the past, a tiny négoce range has been bottled under Caroline’s name but - thanks to a inheritance from her father, in 2014, Caroline has produced a wonderful, focussed range of Santenay and Chassagne white from her own old vineyards.

Her 2014s were produced and cellared in the same cuverie as the revered PYCM range. Whilst identical bottles, wax and corks are used, and the wines are pressed and vini ed at the same time, Caroline has her own vineyard and harvesting teams. Of course Pierre-Yves casts a beady critical eye on proceedings but this is very much Caroline’s own project and her wines have their own character and uniqueness.
